A Truth about God!

Dear friend,

Everyone is seeking to know the truth about God. That's why we see so many religions with so many believers trying to please God through their rituals/worship.
The true God is very different from the ones that the religions portray. Many people want to know how to find the differences between the true God and the gods of the religions.

In the course of time, I will show you what you need to know when seeking to worship the true God.

First of all, please note the following: If you ask a person what is God's name, you would get different answers. A Jew would say 'Yahweh'. A Christian would say 'Jehovah' or 'Jesus'. A Muslim would say 'Allah'. A Hindu would say 'Shiva' or 'Vishnu' or 'Brahma' or some other names. Other (ancient) religions had names for their chief God like Jupiter/Zeus, Odin, Ra, etc.

The true God doesn't really have a name! Our names are used as identifying 'labels'. Because there are so many men, each man has a separate name to identify him from other men. Because there are so many women, each woman has an individual name to identify her from other women. We even give names to animals because we want to identify them from other animals. We give names to places to identify them from other places. We name houses/buildings to identify them, etc.

However, since there is only one God, there is no need for a 'label' to identify this individual God from other gods.

The true God is immortal, eternal, incorruptible, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, invisible, infinite, etc. Let's take a look at some of these attributes to enable us to know the truth about the one true God.

May the wisdom of the Divine One enable you to render true reverence to the Living God.
